Our shastras speak of three debts we carry through life — Dev Rin (to the divine), Pitra Rin (to our elders), and Rishi Rin (to our teachers).
The debt to our teachers is repaid in a specific way: by spreading the knowledge they gave us.

I'm grateful to both, and I hope to keep repaying the Rishi Rin I've accrued. And if you're not a teacher by profession — mentor someone anyway. That is how this debt is repaid.
