A voiceover that struck me today, paired with a gym session: "Either you want to do something or you don't."
I think the motivational industry has misunderstood the actual problem. The gap between wanting to do something and doing it isn't an information gap. No book fills it. No reel fills it. No quote fills it.
It's a will gap. And nothing external bridges a will gap.
The people who do hard things — the runners, the founders, the operators, the climbers, the artists, the parents who show up every day — none of them did it because they read the right book. They did it because they decided.
Books and reels are at best a small nudge alongside the decision already being made. They are not the decision itself.
