Instagram is giving shocks to many creators. In the last few days, I have seen too many people complaining about their accounts being banned, locked, or disabled — for reasons that often aren't even clear at the time.
I would not want this to happen to anyone. But the truth is — once it does, the appeal process is slow, recovery is rare, and most creators have no copy of the content they built up over years. The platform has it. They do not. This is why I built BEAM.
BEAM is a publishing tool that lets you upload one video and publish it simultaneously across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube — with platform-optimised descriptions for each. But the more important part is what happens behind the scenes: every video you publish through BEAM is saved to your own CDN. Your storage. Your control. Always available, always yours.
To be clear — BEAM cannot recover a banned account. No tool can. That decision sits with the platform.
What BEAM can do: keep your work safe on storage you own, so the day a platform turns against you, your content doesn't go with it. And if a customer or someone in our network does lose their account — we work with them on a case-to-case basis to help them recreate their profile using the content saved on CDN through BEAM. That isn't a feature on the website. It's just something we can do, and we do.
If a major part of your business runs on social media, content ownership isn't optional anymore. Even if it's not BEAM — have something. Don't keep all your work on a platform you don't own.
